I'm Andy Green - co-founder of Counting Hope and founder of Lyke Limited and I'm passionate about volunteering, charity work, and social action. I have cerebral palsy and type one diabetes, but I don't let that stop me! Having raised over £1,000 for various charities, volunteered for hundreds of hours, won multiple awards and worked with many clients for my age, I like to think I have a lot experience and enough to know anything is possible, but enough to also know that I have so much to learn.

Charity stall at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital!

Hello everyone!

I’m excited to announce that during this Volunteers’ Week we have the charity stall at the Diana, Princess Of Wales hospital in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire!

To be precise, we’ll be there from 9 AM on 6 June. We’ll also be there the following week, 13 June, again from 9 AM until the early evening. You’ll find us down the main entrance, adjacent to the cafe – don’t worry, we’ll make sure you can’t miss us.

Hospitals aren’t the nicest place to be for anyone but come and see us and we’ll do our best to brighten up your day and provide you with some inspiration. Our goal is empowering people in Cabo Verde as well as North East Lincolnshire! As much as we hope all is well, we look forward to seeing you there!

We have so much to tell you about and so much for you to buy from gifts straight from Cabo Verde to books and computer equipment, and of course every single penny goes back to Cabo Verde! Why not talk to us about volunteering too? It is Volunteers’ Week after all.

If you’d like to volunteer with us at these events please call +44 7762 026530 or email info@countinghope.org as soon as possible.

See you soon!
